Belogradchik rocks compete with Everest to the place in history !
Participate in the global campaign for the determination of the 7 natural wonders of these world. World campaign is gaining votes to be certain they are the 7 natural wonders of the world. Its initiator is the organization New 7 Wonders, which in 2007 announced the new 7 architectural wonders of the world. In the competition we have and Bulgarian nomination - Belogradchik rocks. An interesting fact is that our natural site was nominated last year by the Swiss organization. In 2007, the first phase of the competition without a special campaign to promote the initiative, the Bulgarian natural phenomenon was in 187 th place from 441 sites. Our site will compete with 261 sites around the world, including Mount Everest, Vezuvius Volcano, Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls, Lake Balaton, the island of Bora Bora and lake Loh Nes.
The deadline for voting in support of the landmarks is 7 July, 2009. Panel will determine the 77 nominees, which will continue forward, organizers pointed to the campaign for the Belogradchik rocks in response to the question of Econ.bg. The next stage will be selected 24 sites. The contest will end in 2011. Then become clear new 7 natural wonders of the planet.
